Whiteshell Cottagers Association Incorporated

Dear Cottager:

This is a reminder that it’s time to renew your annual membership or join us as a new member of the Whiteshell Cottagers Association Inc. (The Association).

The Association is managed by volunteers who advocate on your behalf.  The purpose of the Association is to promote the best interests of cottagers who lease or own land in the Whiteshell Provincial Park.  We represent the interests of cottagers to government and provide leadership and information to our members and other associations with common interests.  The association advocates for fair and reasonable service and lease fees for cottagers and encourages good environmental stewardship on the part of cottagers and all other park users.

Membership entitles you to voting privileges at our Annual General Meeting, April 18, 2012, and to receive five issues of our publication The Whiteshell Echo, which is mailed directly to members.  Membership also entitles you to participate in our monthly environment contest and annual photo contest where you have a chance to win valuable prizes. 

The Association has a web site whiteshellcottagers.com which contains contact information for local Lake Directors, Association Committees and relevant government agencies.  Sections include information on what is happening in the Whiteshell, contests, recipes, committee members and current issues.  

Your $25.00 membership fee ensures that resources are available to protect your legislated rights and will help the Association maintain a strong voice in matters affecting the quality of life in the Whiteshell Provincial Park.

Please take a moment to complete and send in the accompanying application form or visit our web site to apply and pay on-line.  If you have already purchased your membership for 2012, you do not have to return this application.
