| Manitoba Conservation has submitted application for environmental licensing of an ATV trail system in Duck Mountain Provincial Park. The WCA has been informed that there are no plans to develop such a system in the Whiteshell Provincial Park. Cottagers are reminded that ATV use is generally not allowed in the Park. There are plans to establish more specific guidlines for clarification. For example, businesses will be exempted and ATV use is allowed in hunting (for game retrieval only). Any other use of ATVs in the Park will be by special permit only. Let us know your views. |
